Our motivation is to give patients back the best possible vision through eye surgery solutions and thus offer them a higher quality of life – even for eyes outside the “normal range”.
We develop, manufacture and sell premium implants and accessories for eye surgery.

From development to production to shipping: at HumanOptics, all business processes take place in Germany – at our two sites in Erlangen and Sankt Augustin.
It is important to us that all production steps are carried out exclusively in Germany. This allows us to maintain complete control over each individual process phase to ensure the quality of our implants.
This quality is appreciated by our customers worldwide, which is why we are already represented in over 40 countries with our premium implants.
During our optimized and validated manufacturing process, the intraocular lenses (IOLs ) undergo multiple 100% tests. This means that the product quality of each individual IOL is repeatedly checked and approved by our employees. This is how we guarantee the quality and safety of our implants.

HumanOptics has received approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the ARTIFICIALIRISCUSTOMFLEX® implant for the treatment of aniridia patients. This gives patients in the USA access to optimal care for iris defects.
