TORICA® – THE TORIC IOLS FOR ASTIGMATISM CORRECTION
FROM THE PIONEERS OF THE TORIC IOLS
The Torica® is the result of over 15 years’ experience with toric IOLs. HumanOptics (formerly Dr. Schmidt Intraocularlinsen) is one of the first manufacturers to have produced toric IOLs – in 1997 experiences with the implantation of our toric IOLs were already published. Our long-term experience in this field results in today’s Torica® design – for the benefit of surgeon and patients! Please find more information in our brochure on the Premium IOL Platform.
Our application experts perform IOL power calculations on request and are available for individual, intensive case discussions. Additionally, HumanOptics offers the Torica® online calculator as well as an individual MicroTrim screen slide for optimal intra-operative axis-alignment.
The latest addition to the Torica® platform: the monobloc model in modern MICS design.
Assigned to the Torica®-platform the Torica®-aA is not only available as a toric IOL, but also
as a monofocal or multifocal version.
