"Fine-Tuning" for Pseudophakic Patients
"Add-On" describes the
secondary implantation of an IOL into the sulcus ciliaris in
addition to anexisting intraocular lens located inside the
capsular bag.
Either the Add-On lens is implanted in one procedure („1-session“ strategy) together with the intraocular lens for the capsular bag or in a second separate procedure into an existing pseudophakic eye
(„2-session“ strategy).
