technology products for eye surgery, which enable the
patients to retrieve the best possible visual
function.

The customizable intraocular lenses (most of them
with additional functions) offer an ideal solution for a
high number of eye surgeries, especially for cataracts,
which is the most performed surgical eye procedure
worldwide. An estimated growth potential of
5-7% per year is expected.

Additional high growth potential for intraocular
lenses (IOLs) as the first alternative to laser
treatments in so called refractive surgery (correction of
refractive errors) such as short- sightedness (Myopia) or
far-sightedness (Hyperopia) or astigmatism.

The HumanOptics Group obtained a turnover of 6.6
Million Euro in the business year 2006/2007 (deadline:
June, 30th 2007)
